Dujiangyan Jindun Supports Dreams by Participating in the "Chengdu Disabled College Graduate Job Fair"
On October 30th, the "Dreams Forward" 2024 Dujiangyan Disabled College Graduate Job Fair and the "City of Love, Dreams Together" nationwide fitness activity for disabled individuals were held at Yijie District Tongxin Square. The event, guided by the Chengdu Disabled Persons Federation and the Dujiangyan Municipal People's Government, was organized by the Dujiangyan Disabled Persons Federation in collaboration with the Nanchuan District of Chongqing, Jinjiang District of Chengdu, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, Kangding City of Ganzi Prefecture, and Wenchuan County of Aba Prefecture.
With "Dreams Forward" as the central theme, the event aimed to provide disabled college graduates with a platform to achieve their personal dreams while showcasing the resilience, positivity, and tenacity of disabled individuals through fitness activities. The event was attended by representatives from the Chengdu Disabled Employment Service Center and the six local Disabled Persons Federations.
Six Disabled Persons Federations Join Hands to Support Dreams
As part of Dujiangyan’s commitment to promoting the important directives on the disabled community and national fitness, the event aims to help disabled graduates gain access to public employment services, create a supportive environment for employment and entrepreneurship, and share the fruits of social and economic development. The collaboration between the six regions aimed to help disabled college graduates secure better job opportunities amidst fierce competition.
During the opening ceremony, representatives from the six regions signed a mutual employment support agreement. Moving forward, the federations will actively integrate employment resources, promoting job opportunities to disabled individuals and striving to create a favorable environment for understanding, supporting, and assisting the employment of people with disabilities.
At the event, Li Huixing, a disabled graduate from Chongqing Aerospace Vocational Technology College, delivered a speech representing disabled college students. She bravely shared how she utilized her skills and seized every opportunity to achieve her life goals with confidence and determination.
Later, three disabled college graduates, including Li Huixing, signed employment agreements with companies such as Dujiangyan Jindun Protective Equipment Co., Ltd. and Dujiangyan Huachuan Die Casting Co., Ltd. Zhang Xintao, the Deputy General Manager of Dujiangyan Jindun Protective Equipment Co., Ltd., stated, "We hope to fulfill our corporate social responsibility by establishing broader and deeper communication channels with government departments, collaborating closely, and providing more job opportunities and better conditions for disabled college graduates to achieve more fulfilling and high-quality employment."
